this refers directly to you as i found your comments most helpful.now coming to my query i m a direct appointee in the GP 4600 as TGT in the year 2002.my BP on 1/1/2006 was 6025.
as per the rules i can not claim even the entry pay in the pay band ie.12540+4600=17140.however a direct recruit is getting it.
please advice whether the onus is on me to find a case for stepping up or its a matter of wrong fixation ? is this matter being taken up in anomaly commitee?

Anomaly committee is looking on this matter. Probably they will give at par pay of entry grade .
